Replacement of the Medium Pressure Gas Pipeline to the villages Myrne and Muzhyliv has been completed

The total length of the section of the medium-pressure gas pipeline, which needed to be replaced, to the villages Myrne and Muzhyliv of Pidgaitsi city community was 2,950 meters. In August 2021, employees of Pidgaitsi section of Berezhany Department for the gas facility operation replaced the first part of the gas pipeline, namely: 1,250 meters. The work was done in a very short time, in one week.

According to the project documentation, the route on which it was planned to lay a new gas pipeline ran through the field. In summer, corn grew in this field. In order not to damage the crop, it was decided to divide the construction and installation work into two periods, the second of which is in December 2021.

In order to complete necessary work in the shortest possible time, the workers had to be constantly under extremely difficult weather conditions. In the field, with sub-zero air temperature and wet soil underfoot, the specialists of Pidgaitsi section replaced the last 1,700 meters of the gas pipeline. Drivers also had a hard time. Excessively moist field soil created considerable obstacles to the normal movement of machinery. 21 people were involved to carry out the necessary works. 

Today, reconstruction of the gas pipeline is completed, and for two days, on December 15-16, 2021, gas workers are testing the replaced part of the pipeline for strength and tightness. 

The works were performed in accordance with the Gas Distribution System Development Plan for 2021 of the gas distribution company PrJSC Ternopilgaz.
