Ternopilgaz hosted a training on the use of vLoc3 devices to determine the location of engineering networks

The Vivax-Metrotech Corporation develops and manufactures devices for determining the location of engineering networks underground and video inspection equipment for checking the internal condition of metal and non-metal pipelines. 

On Tuesday, January 25, 2022, the main enterprise of Ternopilgaz hosted a training of specialists of regional gas facilities engaged in conducting a comprehensive instrument survey of underground gas pipelines.

Attention is drawn to the vLoc3-5000 Receiver, which allows to determine the location and depth of the gas pipeline, places of insulation damage, etc.  Data on the geographical location of gas networks obtained using the GPS module can be downloaded for further analysis and use with the Geographical Information System (GIS) or Google Maps. 

Training on working with the vLoc3 RTK-Pro receiver, which has an internal RTK cellular module (RTK is a centimeter-level positioning technology to improve data accuracy) with the ability to connect to a 4G LTE cellular network was also conducted.

Using these functions, the operator can collect data on the geographical location of gas networks with an accuracy of 2 cm. 

As of today, Ternopilgaz has been already using seven vLoc receivers. We put innovative developments into practice to become the best for our customers. After all, it is possible to achieve the highest labor productivity with the professional use of modern technologies.
