Reconstruction of equipment at the gas-control unit in the village Savelivka of Chortkiv District
Ternopilgaz has 1295 gas-control units on its balance sheet. The equipment is designed to reduce gas pressure and maintain it at a given level in gas supply systems. The task of the company is a control over reliable work, constant updating and modernization. Every year about 70 gas-control units need repair, reconstruction or replacement.
For example, recently the specialists of the Monastyryska section of the Buchach Department for the Operation of the Gas Industry performed works on the reconstruction of the gas-control unit of the village of Savelivka, Chortkiv District, with the replacement of equipment. The object was commissioned in 1994 and equipped with RDUK-100 gas pressure regulators. Equipment that has been in operation for more than 20 years has become physically worn out, numerous threaded connections have caused gas leaks, and outdated regulators no longer allow normal regulation of natural gas outlet pressure.
Today gas-control unit is equipped with new modern pressure regulators Pietro Fiorentini of the Italian production. After the reconstruction of the facility, uninterrupted gas supply was provided to 159 consumers in the villages Savelivka and Olesha, Chortkiv District.
