An international meeting of Gas Companies
Practice of holding international events online became widespread during the pandemic. Thus, with participation of the PrJSC “Ternopilgaz”, a meeting of gas companies of Northern, Eastern Europe and Western Asia was held on March 17, 2021. During the event, the development of the gas market in Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Estonia and Moldova was discussed. The Republic of Belarus was represented by the GDO “Beltopgaz” and Scientific and Production Republican Unitary Enterprise “Belgaztekhnika”, Moldova – by the JSC “Moldovagaz”, and Armenia – by the CJSC “Gazprom Armenia”.
The use of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the participating countries was also heard. “Georgian Gas Transport Company” from Georgia and Estonian company “Eesti Gaas AS” shared their significant experience. In addition, the participants discussed the issues of tariff policy, investment programs, introduction of new equipment, which is successfully used in world practice to ensure trouble-free and uninterrupted distribution of natural gas.
