Reconstruction of the gas pipeline was carried out in Borshchiv Community
A thorough inspection of gas networks near railway tracks is an urgent necessity that has arisen today, caused by frequent provocations by the enemy. In order for the residents and guests of the region to be safe when using the services of “Ukrzaliznytsia”, the gas service employees had to work hard on the eve of the New Year and Christmas holidays.
During a comprehensive instrument survey of underground gas pipelines, specialists of Borshchiv Gas Management Administration discovered a gas leak on the underground gas pipeline, which was laid across the carriageway of the road near the railway. The load on the pipe, where motor vehicles run, is very high, so the laying depth is more than 2.5 meters.
The scale of the works on the gas pipeline reconstruction and their record-short execution time reached the highest indicators. All the necessary actions, namely: earthworks, localization of the damaged area, etc., were performed without natural gas disconnecting. The interruption of gas supply to consumers lasted only a few hours during the installation of a new gas pipeline. As a result of the coordinated work of the staff, a new and reliable polyethylene gas pipeline with a length of 14 meters, which is protected by a metal case, was laid.
