On August 23, Ukraine honours one of the three main state symbols - the flag of Ukraine. The blue and yellow flag is the foundation of Ukrainian identity and the struggle for freedom.
On the occasion of the holiday, today Ternopilgaz held a traditional joint prayer of the staff and blessed the national flag. At a time when Ukraine is once again fighting for its right to exist, its independence and a peaceful future, the employees prayed for Ukrainian soldiers and their speedy return home with victory. A nationwide minute of silence was observed in memory of those who died as a result of the enemy’s armed aggression.
Oleg KARAVANSKYI, CEO, addressed the employees of the company and stressed that the struggle for the national flag and independence had lasted for many years. Carried through history and preserved by generations, the national flag is a symbol of sovereignty and victory.
The true children of Ukraine have a common goal - a free, united and prosperous Ukraine. The Ukraine that generations of our ancestors dreamed of and fought for. The Ukraine for whose future our newest heroes are now shedding their blood.
And it is our responsibility to preserve it and pass it on to the next generations.
